Jean-Marie Fourrier was just 23 years old when he took the reigns of his family's 10ha domaine in 1994. Jean-Marie quickly transformed it into one of Burgundy's most sought-after addresses and one that we've visited annually for the past two decades. 

"I now have almost nothing to do in the cellar. The wines make themselves. All my work is in the vineyards and prior to placing the wines in barrel.”

Domaine Fourrier's holdings include old vine parcels in some of Gevrey's top vineyards, Chambolle, Morey, and Vougeot, many planted between the 1930s and 1950s.  Like many cult producers in Burgundy - small amounts produced - quantities are limited.
