RARE - From a couple rows in an old vine plot in Echezeaux du Dessus!

We’re pleased to offer a small refill of Jean-Marc Millot’s Échézeaux “du Dessus” Cuvée 1949, a micro-selection drawn from just a couple of rows within this prized old vine portion Échézeaux planted in 1949. Production here is vanishingly small, and the wine consistently delivers a striking combination of perfume, precision, and quiet power.

Available today are back vintages 2019 and 2020, along with single magnums of 2021 and 2022, plus our final bottle of the 2023.

Of note, at a focused 2021 Red Burgundy tasting last year, Millot’s Échézeaux du Dessus stood out decisively—outshining a number of far more established names on the table and reinforcing just how compelling this cuvée has become in recent vintages.
