Just released... the 2022 Anjou Blanc, and Savenniers Cru, 2022 Clos de Fremine, as well as the newest Clos de la Hutte from 2021 (released later due to extended elevage).

As we have mentioned before, Thibaud Boudignon’s wines are (still) catching fire. A must-have for all Chenin Blanc fans, as well as White Burgundy lovers.
Thibaud 101: Located in Anjou, Thibaud works within Savennieres and has put a great deal of effort into restoring vigor in his vineyards. Thibaud works with both purchased and estate fruit to craft his wines. His Anjou Blanc even as a regional wine beats out most lieu-dits wines from all of Loire.
From regional to site-specific wines, it is hard to find better value in the Chenin Blanc category, let alone the great white wines of the world. As you climb the ladder in his range, the quality jump is astounding. The single-vineyard wines evolve with each sip compelling you back to the glass. What I love about Thibaud’s wines is that there is a quality of reduction that builds tension in the wine and underlying energy. Beyond the loads of varietal complexities, the finessed length of acidity provides the backbone to his wines and keeps the palate building, yet fresh at any stage. While these wines are cellar worthy, they really do show well at all stages.

2022 Savennieres Clos de Fremine - VN 94 **Special Price**
"The 2022 Savennieres Clos de Fremine has purity and tranquility; it's a cloud of Chenin Blanc blossoming in the mouth. There were a lot of grapes that didn't make the grade in 2022 due to the hot, dry conditions of the season, but the strict sorting implemented by Boudignon and team appears to have done the trick. 2021 Savennieres Clos de la Hutte - WA 97, VN 95
"Matured with 30% new oak, the 2021 Savennieres Clos de la Hutte was made with grapes grown in clay topsoil with schists. It exhales a perfumed, precise bouquet with aromas of pineapple, lemon oil, spring flowers and spices. The full-bodied, seamless and layered, crystalline and pure, concentrated and mineral palate has a delicate core of fruit and a tense, saline finish.
