Last of Alvina Pernot 2024s | In Stock

Down to the last few excellent bottles of 2024s from Alvina Pernot...

"I must say that I really admire the tension and precision in these wines, which have the edge of their excellent 2023s. Razor-sharp, malic and tensile, they deliver the typicité of a great Puligny-Montrachet from Village up to Grand Crus." -Neal Martin

2024 Alvina Pernot Bourgogne Cote d'Or Femelottes, 5 bottles available
• 89VN, 87JM
"The 2024 Bourgogne Côte d'Or Les Femelottes has a little more complexity on the nose with white peach, citrus peel and very faint wet limestone scents. The palate is well balanced, malic in style with Granny Smiths and pear notes, straightforward but effective on the pert finish." -Neal Martin

2024 Alvina Pernot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles, 5 bottles available
• 93JM, 91+VN
"An attractive pale lemon yellow. This is more chiselled than rich on the nose, but develops significant weight through the middle of the palate as the riper fruit kicks in. I find that the two styles are complementary in 2024. A couple of fresh apricot notes, but overall a classical Pucelles." -Jasper Morris

2024 Alvina Pernot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets, 7 bottles available
• 93VN, 92JM
"The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Les Caillerets ler Cru has a complex nose with green apple, white chalk and flinty scents emerging from the glass. There is just a very subtle reduction here. The palate is tensile from the start with citrus lemon, blood orange and a sharp line of acidity with a very persistent finish that lingers in the mouth. Excellent." -Neal Martin
