Weingut Kunstler was founded in 1965 by Franz Kunstler, in Hochheim, Rheingau.  Now run by quality-obsessed Gunter Kunstler, who made his first wine in 1982 at the age of just 19, the estate extends over a total of 65 hectares between the Rhine and the Main.

Kunstler wines are powerful, harmonious, intense - now more precise and singular. Alongside Weil, Kuhn and Breuer, Weingut Kunstler is flagship Rheingau, especially in a banner vintage like 2021.

You sense that there is flesh on the bones. Everything about this is gentler, rounder and creamier. This is delineated by generosity, creamy zestiness, saltiness, fruity depth and lasting freshness. "Based on 100% botrytis grapes, the 2021 Erbach Marcobrunn Riesling Auslese opens with passion fruit and fig aromas as well as lemon, grapefruit and lemon zest aromas. Rich and supple on the palate, this is a full-bodied, intense and sweet as well as savory Riesling with quite a lot of sweetness but still great balance and aging capacity. 7.5% stated alcohol.
