Great Reviews and Price - Roland Lavantureux

We finally cracked open a few of these 2020s from Roland Lavantureux and they were delicious!  We also found some press from Jasper Morris and it definitely jives with what we found in the bottle.  These are in stock and something for the Chablis fans to grab while we have them available.  Some remarkably good wine for the money!

2020 Domaine Roland Lavantureux Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume - JM 91-93, 4 stars

2020 Domaine Roland Lavantureux Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Vey - JM 92-94, 5 stars
"Clean bright colour with a classy delicacy. There is an impressive level of detail, some coconut dusting on the grass, excellent acidity behind, growing out if its reductive phase, with a little lemony touch behind. I used not to like Vau de Vey much until I discovered it chez Lavantureux." - June 2021

2020 Domaine Roland Lavantureux Chablis Grand Cru Vaudesir - JM 93-96, 4 stars
"A paler colour and more backward nose than the Bougros, with an interesting waxy and mentholated bouquet, plenty happening here but in very embryonic form. I like the grip on the palate which shows a significantly greater weight of fruit to finish. Massive potential here." - June 2021
