Agrapart - Benchmark for Cote des Blancs
Today we have a nice mix of Agrapart from the 2015 - 2017 vintage, all in stock! They own 10ha of fruit across several villages...all Grand Cru, 100% Chardonnay, and zero purchased fruit. They have a very natural approach in the vineyard, ploughing by hand/horse and encouraging the health of organic life by adding locally made compost back to the soils annually.
Mineral is a blend of two vineyards, Champ Bouton in Avize and Bionnes in Cramant, bottled Extra Brut.
Avizoise is a blend of the Robarts and Gros Yeux vineyards in Avize with clay covered chalk, bottled Extra Brut.
Venus is a single vineyard bottling from 60 year old vines from Fosse Aux Pourceaux in Avize, bottled Brut Nature.
Experience uses old vine Avize fruit and takes a base wine from one vintage and adds unfermented juice from the next vintage to create the secondary fermentation. This bottling isn't made every year since it requires two great vintages in a row to make it happen, but Agrapart had a nice 2015-2017 streak. These are bottled Brut Nature.
