In 2013, the city of Dijon purchased a big chunk of land that was previously prime real estate for Burgundian vineyards.  This purchase came with several abandoned and forgotten vineyards that fell dormant from phylloxera.  To ramp up this undertaking, the city of Dijon wanted to seek out a talented, passionate and young winemaker to help shape this massive undertaking.  Their requirements were simple, agriculture had to be organic, and the hired winemaker had to not have any other conflict with their families' vineyards.

Marc Soyard, who was born and raised in Jura, was carefully selected to head this project.  His wine background and understudy were spent and shaped in a major Burgundy Domaine under Jean-Yves Bizot.  After six years working at Domaine Bizot, learning vineyard management and winemaking techniques, Marc was ready to take on his own label.  

The vineyards are all designated Bourgogne AOC and only Domaine de la Cras is allowed to produce wines labeled "Coteaux de Dijon".

The wines have developed a loyal following and we're excited to have some of the 2022's to offer you today!  In addition to the Coteaux de Dijon Blanc and Rouge, we have a little more than a case of his VERY limited and rare negoce label, Tercet.  With that, an old-vine Aligote with Marc's vinification style that favors freshness and texture to highlight the wines' terroir.
